PTC SPORTS SUMMER HOLIDAY CLUB
Covid 19 Risk Assessments are attached below:
PTC Sports have continued to work hard in the background to plan ahead for the summer. Taking into account Government and Public Health England guidelines on social distancing, we are very pleased to announce our Summer Multi Sports Holiday club. We will still ensure your child(ren) have as much FUN as possible, whilst adapting the way we usually operate to allow us to create a safe environment for children, parents and staff. Some of the adaptations are to include:
Smaller group sizes (max 12 children) Each group will operate as a ‘bubble’ during each day of the Holiday Camp.
Adapted activities & equipment
Improved hygiene & cleaning routines
We will keep you informed of our plans as they develop so you can be confident in the knowledge, we are doing all we can to ensure your children are safe, whilst having a fantastic time at our summer holiday clubs.
Attendance
Attendance on the day is subject to your child being virus-free, as far as it is practicable to be sure. To this end you must NOT bring your child if they:
- show any symptoms of COVID-19 on the day
- show any symptoms within 7 days prior to attending
- are living with an individual who has shown symptoms within 14 days before the date of their attendance (they and you should be self-isolating as per government guidelines)
Children who turn up with a cough – or who are accompanied by an adult or sibling with a cough – or who are otherwise obviously unwell will not be accepted by the registering leader. The leader’s decision on this matter is final, and neither they nor we at head office will engage in any discussion on the matter.
Please be responsible when making a decision about bringing your child – bringing a child who is mildly ill, even if you are sure they are well enough to attend, could threaten the health of other children, and of our staff. Our staff are required to self-isolate at the first sign of any symptoms, so if you send a poorly child – even if you are convinced that they do not have COVID-19 – you risk us having to cancel all future sessions for this season because our staff will be unable to work.
Staffing
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, our Activity Professionals have completed an Infection Prevention, Mitigation and Management qualification in order to provide the very best care to the children under their supervision, and to colleagues.
We have revised our activities to ensure that they can be delivered whilst observing the government guidelines. This does mean some activities will not be on offer this summer, but most importantly it will facilitate the delivery of fun and engaging activities in a SAFE way.
